The Middle East
The Middle East is considered to be the ‘cradle of civilization', as it is the birthplace of many cultures from both the ancient and medieval worlds. It is here that mankind first created written language, and this region has given rise to some of the world's most widespread religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam). Not only does the Middle East hold a great importance to world history, but it also holds incredible natural beauty. Here, many mountain ranges extend from the vast desert plateaus and descend to the sea.
