DAY 1: MONTREAL-HANOI

 

DAY 2: HANOI (- / - / -)

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide will welcome you and drive you to Hanoi. Installation at your hotel.

 
DAY 3: HANOI FULL DAY - VISIT THE CITY - PUPPET SHOW (PD / D / X)
The capital Hanoi is often nicknamed "The Paris of the East". Today you will have a full day visiting this charming historic town. Colonial houses, flowery parks and shaded boulevards. Your first stop will be Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) where is the father of modern Vietnam. Site visits such as the Stilt House, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square and One Pillar Pagoda. Then go to the Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology of Vietnam. At the end of the day you will see a puppet show on the water. Back to the hotel and supper free. Night in Hanoi.
 
Note that the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays morning and every afternoon. Thus, you will visit the exterior of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in case.
 
DAY 4: HANOI - CRUISE TO HALONG BAY (B / L / S)
Morning departure to Halong Bay, we will cross a beautiful and picturesque countryside. The impressive Halong Bay is one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Vietnam. Upon arrival we will embark on a Junk, a traditional Vietnamese boat, for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. Cruise among the rock formations of the bay and the floating villages. At sunset, we will dine on board and anchor in the bay for the night.
Note: The itinerary and schedule of the cruise are subject to change due to weather conditions.
 
DAY 5: HALONG BAY CRUISE - HANOI DA NANG - HOI AN (PD / S)
Wake up early and admire daylight filtering through the mist and towering rock formations, leaving you with an unforgettable memory of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy breakfast and perhaps join a Tai Chi class on the deck of the boat before disembarking and returning to Noi Bai Airport for your late afternoon flight to Da Nang. Arrival in Da Nang, meeting with our guide and transfer to Hoi An. Installation at the hotel.

 

DAY 6: TRA QUE - COOKING COURSE - HOI AN ANCIENT CITY (B / L)
After breakfast, you will cycle to the colorful central market of Hoi An. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with local vendors and choose the ingredients you will use in the cooking lesson. Make sure your camera is at hand.
Continuation to Tra Que, you will visit the herb garden where local farmers are working on their field using organic methods from 300 years ago.
Learn the traditional methods of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
Afternoon: visit the ancient city of Hoi An: the Japanese covered bridge pagoda, built for the first time in 1593 by the Japanese community of the city to connect the Chinese neighborhoods on the other side of the river. Then visit the Sa Huynh museum, the Tran family chapel, the lantern workshop, the Phuoc Kien assembly hall, a Chinese pagoda built around 1690, dedicated to the goddess of the sea. Overnight in Hoi An.
 
DAY 7: HOI AN - HUE (B / L) The panoramic Hoi An runs along the coast to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam.
With a stop at the Marble Mountains to see the five hills of marble and limestone,
you will then reach Hue to visit the old Forbidden City.
You will have free time at the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
 
DAY 8: VISIT THE CITY OF HUE - FLIGHT FOR SAIGON (B / L)
Start your day by boarding a traditional dragon boat for a leisurely stroll along the Perfume River. Stop at the Thien Mu Pagoda and the royal mausoleums of Emperor Tu Duc, who reigned over Hue over 100 years ago, before visiting the site of the royal tomb of Minh Mang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Late afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Saigon.
 
DAY 9: SAIGON- CAI BE FLOATING MARKET -CAN THO (PD / D)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the floating market of Cai Be. Discover the fascinating network of rivers in the Mekong Delta and go by motorboat to the Cai Be Floating Market to observe the local trade. Visit a small family business and immerse yourself in the nature of Binh Hoa Phuoc village. Fresh river food, traditional folk music and a bonsai garden await you before continuing to Vinh Long and then to Can Tho. Night in Can Tho.
 
DAY 10: FLOATING MARKET OF CAI RANG - SAI GON (B / L)
 Depart early in the morning for a visit to the spectacular Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the Mekong Delta. Boarding aboard a merchant ship before continuing to a rice processing plant, then return to Saigon in the afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
  
DAY 11: TUNNEL CU CHI - HALF DAY OF VISIT OF THE CITY OF SAIGON (PD / D)
In the morning you will visit the underground village of Cu Chi and discover the incredible network of 200 km of tunnels where the Viet Cong lived and fought during the war. Spend half a day visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the post office, the former presidential palace and the War Remnants Museum. Overnight in Saigon.
 
DAY 12: SAIGON DEPARTURE (PD)
Breakfast at the hotel, free day and transfer to the airport for your departure flight (departure time of the hotel: 12:00) possibility, if necessary, with supplement to make a late check out.
